AKS University, Satna(MP) is engaged in offering Diploma, Degree & PG level programs in the fields of Engineering(Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining & Cement Technology), Agriculture (including Science and Engineering programs, Food Technology), Social Sciences, Management, CS-IT, Pharmacy, Life Sciences(Bio-Technology), Humanities (Education) etc. since its inception.
These departments also get timely support of Department of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, SSD, Environmental Studies, Spiritual studies etc. for smooth functioning of concerned departments.
The University had maintained a large faculty base with varied rich experience. It has a perfect balance of experience faculty members of Industry and Institutions. Over 4500 students (as on 15th Feb 2015) are not only imparted a well-structured syllabus but are exposed to Laboratory environment in line with the requirements. Both students and faculty members are regularly sent/deputed to industries, and other teaching & research institutions to enhance their exposure to developments made.
In order to utilize the knowledge base and expertise of the faculty members, the AKS University management has approved a well-structured R&D program including undertaking scientific/industrial consultancy. As a part of this initiative, till date, the University has made considerable in-roads into scientific and industrial consultancy programs. Details are stated at Annexure below.
The scope of research activities covers the different areas of engineering, basic and applied sciences and management leading to integrated engineering solutions for industrial problems.
In a short span of time, it has completed projects for many CPSUs, and Private Sector Companies.
AKS University has continued to build the research programmes, adopting a distinctive interdisciplinary approach to meet short-term and long-term challenges faced by the industry/mines and other organizations. The research activities are focused in integration of in-house talent in a phased manner.
