We believe that sports play a crucial role in the holistic development of student’s personality since it teaches an individual to imbibe sportsman spirit, to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat, and a spirit of co-operation, discipline, honesty and integrity. The university provides all types of sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. The regular play is a vital part of the curriculum. The university has 20+ acres playground.

The much-anticipated University Cricket Tournament APL (AKS PREMIER LEAGUE) kicked off with great enthusiasm and fervor, bringing together young cricketing talents from various universities across the region. The tournament, organized by Dept. of computer science and engineering, aimed to provide a platform for aspiring cricketers to showcase their skills and sportsmanship. The tournament concluded with a grand closing ceremony, where players, coaches, and supporters gathered to celebrate the spirit of cricket and acknowledge the outstanding performances. Virat Singh Chauhan was named the Player of the Tournament for his exceptional contributions with both bat and ball. The University Cricket Tournament not only provided a platform for showcasing cricketing talent but also fostered camaraderie among participants from diverse backgrounds. The event highlighted the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication, leaving a lasting impact on all involved. As the sun set on the tournament, the memories created on the cricket field will undoubtedly inspire the next generation of cricketing stars from university campuses far and wide.
